The Lincoln Eagles homeschool high school girls’ basketball team fosters a strong sense of team growth through a schedule that includes regular competition in the Lincoln and Omaha areas, complemented by strategic travel to tournaments and away games for enhanced experience and competition.
High School Girls 2024/25 Season Achievements
The Lincoln Eagles Varsity Girls Basketball team had an impressive season, finishing with a 22-10 record and achieving the highest points per game in team history at 60.2. Their offensive strategy was highly effective, with 55% of their points coming from turnovers and in transition. They averaged 15.6 assists and 37.6 rebounds per game and shot an efficient 51% field goal percentage. They were District Champions, the team finished 3rd place at the Regionals and celebrated finishing 15th at nationals in D1. Earlier in the season, they triumphed as the Des Moines Tournament champions. A memorable moment of the season was their dramatic comeback from a 14-point deficit, capped off by a buzzer-beater to force overtime and secure a thrilling win over Manhattan. The team only graduates one senior and has set the stage for a strong 2025-2026 season.
