Who can participate in the Lincoln Eagles basketball program?

Our program is open to homeschooled students in grades 5 through 12 who are homeschooled for at least 51% of their coursework. Players from Lincoln, Seward, and surrounding areas are welcome to join.

What teams are available?

We currently offer the following teams:

  • Varsity Boys (9th–12th grades)
  • Junior Varsity Boys (9th–12th grades)
  • Varsity Girls (9th–12th grades)
  • Junior High Boys (5th–8th grades)
  • Junior High Girls (5th–8th grades)

When does the basketball season take place?

The season typically runs from October through March. Registration opens in September, with practices and games scheduled during the season. Additionally, summer open gyms and voluntary workouts are offered to prepare for the upcoming season.

How do I register my child for the program?

Registration involves completing an online form, paying the team fees, and receiving confirmation. To be notified when registration opens, you can join our mailing list.

What is the mission and vision of the Lincoln Eagles?

What are the expectations for players and parents?

Our program emphasizes values such as excellence, improvement, character, relationship, and family. Both players and parents are expected to uphold these values, with guidelines detailed in the program handbook.

Are there opportunities for sponsorship or donations?

Yes, the Lincoln Eagles are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We welcome both player and corporate sponsorships to support the program.
